You have the right to cancel your purchase agreement within 14 days in written form (for instance by letter, fax or email) or by sending back the goods in case you received them prior to the ending of the right of cancellation. There is no need to indicate reasons for cancelling the agreement. The relevant period for cancellation starts after receipt of this information in written form, but not before receipt of the goods by the purchaser (in case of recurring shipments of similar goods not before receipt of the first partial shipment) and not before we have fulfilled our obligation to inform our customers in line with Article 246 § 2 in connection with § 1 paragraph 1 and 2 EGBGB. For meeting the cancellation period it is sufficient to send off a notification of cancellation or to send back the goods on time.

Consequences of a Cancellation

In case of a legally valid cancellation the goods and services received, including possible benefits (for instance interest rate payments) by both sides have to be mutually returned. In case you are unable to fully return the goods and services received including possible benefits (such as use of goods) or only able to return them in a damaged condition, compensation charges may apply. Compensation for damaged goods or other benefits is applicable in case the benefits or damages are due to a use of the goods clearly going beyond a checking of their working and function. A “checking of working and function” is generally understood to mean testing and checking goods in ways which would not be possible and customary in a normal retail shop. Goods which can be transported by parcel service have to be returned on our risk. You will have to pay the regular costs for returning the goods provided the goods constitute the ordered goods and provided the purchase price of the goods to be returned is less than 40 EUR or if you have not yet effected a full or partial payment (as agreed on) prior to the time of cancellation in case of higher values of the goods to be returned. In all other cases returning the goods is free of charge for you. Goods which cannot be sent by parcel service will be picked up at your place. Obligations to return payments have to be met within 30 days. The period for this obligation to return payments starts for you at the time when sending off your notification of cancellation, for us when receiving your notification
